By accessing and using FlowBound ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
FlowBound is a mobile application that allows users to:
- Upload and import short-form videos
- Automatically segment videos into step-by-step instructions using AI
- Organize videos with categories and tags
- Track progress through video steps
- Access content offline
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
- You may sign in using Google, Apple, or continue as a guest (anonymous)
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One account per person
3.2 Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through the app
- We may terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days
4. Acceptable Use
4.1 You may:
- Upload videos you own or have rights to use
- Import YouTube videos via URL
- Create personal step-by-step guides
- Share videos within the app
- Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes
4.2 You may not:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Harass or harm other users
- Attempt to hack, breach security, or reverse engineer the app
- Use the app for commercial purposes without permission
- Upload content containing violence, hate speech, sexual or adult content, spam, or malware
5. Content Ownership and Rights
5.1 Your Content
- You retain ownership of videos you upload
- You grant us a license to process, store, and display your content
- This license is limited to providing the service
- You can delete your content at any time
5.2 AI-Generated Content
- Step-by-step instructions generated by AI are based on your videos
- You own the AI-generated analyses of your videos
- AI processing uses OpenAI, Google AI, or Anthropic APIs
- Videos are not stored by AI providers
5.3 Our Content
- FlowBound logo, design, and UI are our property
- App code and algorithms are proprietary
6. Video Processing
6.1 AI Analysis
- Videos are analyzed using AI to generate steps
- Analysis may not be 100% accurate
- You can edit generated steps
- Processing may fail due to video quality or content type
6.2 Supported Content
- Short-form videos (under 10 minutes recommended)
- Supported platforms: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram
- Best for: tutorials, recipes, workouts, how-tos
6.3 Processing Limitations
- Some videos may fail to process
- Results depend on video quality and clarity
- We do not guarantee accuracy of AI-generated content
7. Pricing and Subscriptions
7.1 Free Plan
- FlowBound offers a free tier with limited features
- Free users may create up to 3 FlowBounds
- The free tier will continue to be available
7.2 Pro Plan (Auto-Renewable Subscription)
- FlowBound Pro is available as a monthly auto-renewable subscription
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's Account Settings
- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
7.3 Pricing Changes
- We may change subscription pricing with notice
- Price changes will not affect current subscription periods
- Existing subscribers will be notified before renewal at the new price

- Videos and data are cached locally for offline access
- Cache expires after 24 hours
- Changes made offline sync when connection is restored
- We are not liable for data loss during offline operation

The App uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google Cloud): Storage and database
- OpenAI / Google AI / Anthropic: AI video analysis
- Google Sign-In: Optional authentication
- Apple Sign-In: Optional authentication (iOS)
You agree to their respective terms of service when using these features.

- "FlowBound" and our logo are trademarks
- You may not use our branding without permission

- The App and its content are protected by copyright
- Unauthorized copying or distribution is prohibited
12. Disclaimers
12.1 As-Is Basis
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- We do not guarantee accuracy of AI-generated content
12.2 No Professional Advice
- Content in the App is for informational purposes only
- Not a substitute for professional advice
- Particularly for fitness, cooking, or safety-related content
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Total liability limited to amount paid for the service
- We are not liable for data loss, though we make reasonable efforts to prevent it
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify FlowBound from claims arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Content you upload
- Violation of these terms
- Violation of third-party rights
15. Changes to Terms
- We may update these terms with notice
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification, email (if provided), or App Store update notes
16. Termination
16.1 By You
- Delete your account through the app at any time
- Data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
16.2 By Us
- We may terminate accounts violating these terms
- We may suspend service for maintenance
- We may discontinue the App with 30 days notice
